Differences Between Honda Brio And Brio Satya

Honda Brio is a type of Honda city car that is quite popular among Indonesian automakers with its class quality. This Brio car comes with various advanced features that maximize driving while on the road. Even though the market price is around 150-175 million Rupiah, the quality and features of this car range from the braking system, safety system, engine power, and others in its class to the hatchback car which costs 200 million rupiah.

Honda Brio is a type of car that carries the LCGC program, which is an environmentally friendly inexpensive car. Honda Brio itself comes in 2 options, namely Honda Brio (non LCGC) and Honda Brio Satya. So what's the difference between the Brio car and Honda Brios Satya? The following is a further explanation.

1. Body Exterior

In fact, if you only glance at it, there is no significant difference between Moibl Brio and Brio Satya. However, there are actually slight differences in certain parts of the car's exterior, including:

  • Wheels, on wheels can be seen on the Honda Brio using aluminum wheels. Meanwhile, Brio Satya still uses iron-type wheels. This wheel difference is quite influential. This is because aluminum wheels are lighter and more stable than iron wheels even though the tires are used exactly the same.
  • The fog light section is also different, the fog light feature is only found in brio cars for the highest variant (E A / T). Meanwhile, Brio Satya is not equipped with fog lights.

2. Car Weight

Another difference is the weight of the two cars. For the Brio car, the car weighs 35 kilograms compared to the Brio Satya. When viewed from the aspect of ability, the lighter the weight of the car will make the acceleration faster. But it could be the difference between the weight of the car because the weight of the ornament is not implanted in the Brio Satya Car variant.

3. Interior Inside

There are several differences in the interior features of the two cars, this can be seen from the audio system used. In the Brio car, he has used a dual din audio system that can be connected to a smartphone (via Bluetooth). Meanwhile, the Brio Satya only uses the Single Din audio system which is not equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.

Another difference lies in the safety features on the car door. Where Honda Brio is equipped with Auto Door Lock By Speed technology where the door can lock automatically at a certain speed. But unfortunately this feature is not found on the Honda Satya.

4. Steering Features

Although both have used the EPS steering system, there are different steering features, namely the Tilt Steering feature. This feature will come in handy when you are driving long distances so you can avoid the driver feeling tired because the wheel height can be adjusted (lowered or raised) to find the most comfortable position. However, this feature is only found on Brio (E A / T) cars and is not available on Brio Satya.

5. Seat Color

Another thing in the interior of the two cars that is the difference between Honda Brio and Brio Satya is the color of the seats. When you enter the cabin of the car, you can feel the luxurious sensation that looks more than Honda Brio with the use of black seats. While at Brio Satya uses Ivory-colored chairs.

6. Braking System

Another difference lies in the braking system of these two cars. If on a Brio car, use ABS + EBD technology in the braking system. Which is an anti-slip braking system, so that even if you hit the brakes suddenly, the car will not lose its grip when on the road (slipping) thus ensuring safety while driving. Unfortunately, this braking feature cannot be found on the Brio Satya Car.

7. Transmission System

The transmission systems used in the two cars are different from one another. The Padqa Brio car already uses an automatic transmission system while the Brio Satya car uses a manual transmission system. With this manual transmission system, Brio Satya is actually more efficient in using fuel because the original purpose of this car was to be an environmentally friendly car. As for the Brio car, it has an engine specification of 1,300 cc and the Brio Satya has an engine capacity of 1,200 cc.

8. Radiator Fan

In Honda Brio, it uses 2 radiator fans, while the Brio Satya uses only one radiator fan. That's where the radiator fan comes in handy to suck air from outside the car. In addition, the size of the radiator and condenser on the Brio car is bigger than the Brio Satya.

9. Rearview mirror

Another difference is the rearview mirror of the two cars. On the Brio Satya the car has a blank mirror design without a cover that covers the rearview mirror. Whereas in the Brio Car, the rearview mirror is equipped with a cover.

10. Use of Main Lights

The head lamp is a very important component in a vehicle. With the headlights, it will make driving more comfortable and safer at night. Both types of cars use different types of headlights. The Brio car (RS type) already uses a projector model lamp equipped with an LED Light Guide. Meanwhile, the Brio Satya car uses standard halogen headlamps.

11. Rear Wiper

Another distinct feature is the Rear Wiper. The rear wiper is a very important component in a vehicle, the function of this component is to ensure the visibility of the car when driving in the rain. It's just that unfortunately this feature is only found on the Honda Brio, while the Brio Satya does not feature a rear wiper.

12. Suspension System

Actually the suspension system on the Brio (type RS) and Brio Satya is the same, both of these cars are the same as using the MacPherson Strut type at the front and the H-Shape Torsion Beam at the rear. However, in the Brio (RS type) the angle of the casters on the front legs can be changed so that they can get more stability. The effect is of course making Honda Brio (RS type) more agile when maneuvering and reducing body roll. Body roll is a load transfer to the outside of the bend. So that when the body roll decreases, the tires (on the inside of the bend) will be raised smaller. This feature is not found on Honda Brio Satya.

13. Car Variants

In Honda Brio, there are 2 variants on the market, the Brio S (A / T) and the Brio E (A / T). As for the Brio Satya car variant, it consists of 3 different variants, Satya A, Satya S, and Satya E.

14. Security features

The most obvious difference from the safety systems of the two cars is the SRS Airbag feature, which is only found on the Honda Brio while the Airbag feature is not available on the Brio Satya. But that does not mean that Honda does not pay attention to the security system in the Brio Satya. The Brio and Brio Satya are equipped with the G-CONE + ACE frame structure and Side Impact Beam technology that can minimize collisions on all sides of the car.
